Somethings should be sacred. This should not happen. It seems sacrilegious for there to be a McDonald's anywhere in the vicinity of the Mona Lisa or any of the other thousands of priceless, timeless pieces of work. I don't know why but I just feel that those pieces of art should be shielded from the the one thing that epitomizes the demise of our society, the civilization these artists tried to shape during the Renaissance... It's a shame.
I couldn't imagine gazing onto the Mona Lisa and then thinking... Hmmm.... Hankerin' for a Big Mac.
God save us.
